Putting the BS in BBS
Crazy stuff gets posted to the non-sports pages of various Husker BBS. Here are some examples:
One thread at Max's site one poster writes about blacks not being accepting of white entertainment. It is now closed.
Another thread there says that thieves targeted a home on the published gun permit map. The thread links to an article from Newsday where the headline only asks the question but fails to confirm if the gun map had any role in leading to the robbery. In fact, the article describes a ladder on the back of the house leading to a broken second story window. Perhaps the map of gun permit owners is so specific as to indicate that the gun safe was in a second story back bedroom.
Finally there is a thread that points out the ethics and consequences of walking way from your mortgage. Rest assured that some of the same posters who are critical of people who choose to default on their mortgage will advocate that the Government should not raise the debt ceiling even if it means they default on their existing obligations. One would think that if default is bad, it is always bad.

Husker Men's Basketball: Take the under.
The huskers will be without Ubel for the rest of the season. Their already depleted squad is without almost any scores. They have yet to score more than 47 points in each of their first three conference games. They are dead last in the big 10 in the important areas of effective field-goal percentage field goal attempts to free-throw attempts and offensive rebound percentage.
Most likely they will score 50 again at some point time this season and most likely they will win another game this season. However it's hard to imagine when that will happen and how that will happen.
EDIT: Never trust me for gambling advice. The Huskers were tied with #22 Michigan State 32 all at half tome and the people who took the over 119 points won as the Huskers broke 50. Put this one down as yet another moral victory.
